The True Vine

I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. -John 15:1 NKJV

I love the picture of Jesus as the vine and that we are the branches, depicting our relationship to Christ. A vine is filled with life and nourishment and feeds the branches so the branches can produce much fruit.

I am so grateful that as we stay connected to Jesus the True Vine, our lives will be filled with life and that we will be productive and fruitful in all that we do—because He is the vine, and He feeds us, and He nourishes us.

So, this Christmas season, think about Jesus being the vine and you being the branches. Stay close, stay attached to Jesus, and just celebrate His love this Christmas season.
