Joshua (Book 6/66) – A Book of Israel’s History

Joshua narrates the conquest of Canaan and the distribution of the land among the tribes of Israel. It demonstrates God's faithfulness to His promises and the necessity of obedience to His commands for success. This even extended to Rahab, a prostitute from Jericho whom God spared from destruction and ended up in the lineage of Jesus Christ. Joshua's leadership and call for the people to serve the Lord wholeheartedly prefigure Jesus as the ultimate leader and Savior.
