Running With Perseveranceಮಾದರಿ

The Start of the Race
The Christian life is a marathon, not a sprint. Hebrews 12:1 encourages us to "lay aside every weight and sin which clings so closely," and to "run with perseverance the race that is set before us." At the beginning of our spiritual journey, it is crucial to identify and remove everything that hinders us from moving forward. Just as an athlete prepares for a race, we must prepare spiritually for our faith journey.
Challenge: Take some time today to reflect on the areas of your life that are weighing down your walk with Christ. Make a list of these "weights" and pray for God's help to set them aside. Start by eliminating one negative habit that has been hindering your spiritual life.
Prayer: Lord, help me to identify and remove everything that hinders my spiritual race. Give me the strength and discipline needed to run with perseverance, focused on You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
