Build Your Life on Jesus' Teaching

Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. Matthew 7:24 (ESV).

Jesus compares those who hear his words and act on them to wise builders who build their houses on rock. Wisdom is not just about knowing what to do but also about doing it. Our foundation in life must be built on the solid rock of Jesus' teachings to withstand the storms of life. Are you actively building your life on the teachings of Jesus?

Prayer: Father God, Please help us to not only hear your words but also to live them out in our daily lives. May our foundation be firm on the rock of Christ. In Jesus name, Amen.
