SPEND TIME WITH GOD

There's no formula or one right way to spend time with God. Whether you already know how you like to spend time with God or you're still trying to understand how to hear God's voice, today's challenge will help you experiment with some new ways of connecting with God. Try it and see what you discover about God—and about yourself, too!

CHALLENGE

This week, write down one place each day where you sense God inviting you to be more like Jesus. It could be a pull to welcome an outsider to your lunch table, the temptation to lie to your parents about why you were late for curfew, or the feeling that you should say sorry to a sibling for a mean comment.

Keep track of how many times you said yes to the invitation to do the right thing and how many times you said no. Jot down a few sentences about what happened. Have you noticed an invitation more than once?
