King & Kingdomsಮಾದರಿ

The book of Ecclesiastes closes with the Teacher writing this statement, "For God will bring every deed into the judgement, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil." At the end of the day, Ecclesiastes urges us to face our own mortality. One day, we will die, and all our accomplishments, desires, dreams, and failures will die with us. Solomon is reminding us that life is short and our bodies are not eternal. So enjoy the time you have! But live it with purpose.
And here's the only purpose he sees as worthy of our time: bring glory to God.
Think it Over: So what are you living for? Is God and His glory a primary driver or is it your success and your accomplishments that drive you?
