King & Kingdomsಮಾದರಿ

Psalm 51 is a clear picture of David truly greiving over his sin and its destructive aftermath. David's line was the line to which the Messiah would come, yet David finds himself broken before God over the loss of a child conceived out of David's sinful actions. David is sitting in the weight of his sin. How often do we do the same? David's sin impacted more than just David. Sitting in the reality of our sinfulness should lead us to humbly cry out to God for a clean heart.
Think it Over: Do you take time to grieve your own sinfulness? Take time today to grieve the reality of sin’s destruction and the beauty of Jesus' righteousness offered to us through His blood.
