Day 14: From Confusion to Clarity:
God wants to give you clarity in the midst of chaos. With all the voices in the world vying for our attention daily, it is so important that we hear God’s voice and get His direction for our lives. Jesus said in John 10:27 (NKJV), “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.”

Some people think hearing from God is just for pastors or preachers but this promise tells us that we can all hear God’s voice. You have direct access to God’s voice. This is why Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit—to live in us, lead us, and guide us. John 16:13 promises that the Spirit will guide you and show you things to come. Hearing from God is one of the most important things we can focus energy on because He created you and His plans for you are good! Clarity comes when you ask God for wisdom and then take the time to hear what He is saying.

If you need clarity in decisions have to make, the first thing to do is to ask God. Have confidence that you do hear God’s voice because you are His child, and He will show you the steps to take. He will give you the direction that you need. It may not be what you thought it was going to be, but if you listen and are obedient, you will see His good plan worked out in your life. He may speak to you through His Word, through a Scripture, through a message you hear, or through the still small voice of the Holy Spirit. However He chooses to speak to you, it will always line up with the truth of Scripture.
