DAY 2: SELF, PHYSIQUE, PHYSICAL APPEARANCE.
This one is pretty clear-cut. Caring about personal hygiene, physical fitness, and general appearance is not a sin. We are supposed to take care of ourselves. God wants us to.
However, idolatry sets in when we start to place more value on our own outward appearance, vanity, and desire for attention from others than on spending time with God.
We need to guard our hearts. Let's take a moment to ask God to help us see our true intentions when it comes to our outward appearance.
