A Light to My Path
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Our Great God, the unfolding of Your Word gives light; it imparts understanding to the simple (Psalm 119:130). Because of the light of Your Son, Jesus, our hearts overflow with thankfulness. Because of Him, we are now guiltless and can enter into Your holy presence. Thank You!
For all of our days, let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another — and all the more as You see the Day approaching (Hebrews 10:24-25).
Anchor us in Your truth; Your Word is truth. By Your Spirit, help us to light this world with the light You have given us, so at the end of our days, You will say to us, “Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of Your master.” (Matthew 25:21).
ONE QUESTION
Is my life anchored to the truth of God’s Word, and am I consistently aligning my actions with that truth?
