Twenty Five Days of Christmas Devotionsಮಾದರಿ

Zechariah and Elizabeth lived exceptionally good lives in the sight of people and God. They were careful to keep the commandments and requirements of God, yet they could not have children. Though they were sincere in their prayers, Elizabeth passed the age of childbearing without having a child. They went through years of disgrace and pain, watching their hopes and desires slowly fade away.
It is natural to feel betrayed by God when your prayer for basic needs goes unanswered, while those who lead questionable lives get all that they want. You start feeling that God has stopped loving and caring for you. In those moments don’t give in to despair and bitterness, for God in His timing will bring about the best for His children. No eyes have seen, nor ears heard, nor minds conceived what the good Lord has prepared for those who love Him.
