Sometimes forgiving others is hard to do! When someone has done something to hurt you again and again, moving on can be difficult. Add in the fact that sometimes people don’t ask for forgiveness, and that makes it even harder. Still, God asks us to forgive. Not because we need to forget about it, or move on, or let the other person get away with bad decisions. No, God asks us to forgive because God loves us. God wants what’s best for us. And God knows that forgiveness is part of that equation.

So today, pray that God will help you forgive. Ask God to remind you that it’s not just about what’s good for the other person; it’s about what’s good for you, too!
