Quit Daydreaming: How to Wake Up & Break Free (Part 2)ಮಾದರಿ

Using God’s Word as a Weapon
The Bible says the Word of God is “alive and powerful and exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.” It also says God’s word is “sharper than a double-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit and joint and marrow.”
Knowledge is power. So when we study God’s Word and meditate on His teachings, we can use the information we’ve learned to resist the devil.
Jesus did just that when He was driven to the desert to be tempted by Satan. Every time Satan tried to persuade Jesus to sin, He rebuked him and refuted his propositions with the Word of God. After He kept resisting him, the Devil was forced to retreat.
Since Jesus is our ultimate example on how to live a godly and triumphant life, we can imitate His battle strategy to resist the enemy in our own lives.
While the Armor of God may be invisible to the naked eye, it is very much real and when used to the maximum of its potential, it provides unyielding defense against Satan’s attacks and assaults.
