Nick Foles grew up in a Christian home, going to church nearly every Sunday. He knew who God was in those younger years, but didn’t have a relationship with Him. Yet, during a lonely, challenging time in college, God brought Nick to his knees. It was in that moment that Nick realized he hadn’t truly given his life to Christ. In prayer, he turned and surrendered to God.
We don’t always understand why things happen to us, especially bad things. But we can choose how to respond. And if we choose to honor God through our actions and trust Him, He will walk right beside us through the tough times. Our journey with Christ will have its ups and downs, but He will always be with us if we let Him. Like Nick, allow the Word of God to be your guide.
