Deep Waters
Our waters are shallow because His were deep. In Psalm 69:2, we see what He suffered: "I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow Me."
For us, there is no overflowing: "They shall not overflow thee" is His promise. He reserves those awful depths for only Himself. Is there anything we can keep back from such a Savior?
O Lord, take our all, our uttermost all; do with us what Thou wilt if only Thy name may be glorified, Thy heart satisfied.
