Thief of Everythingಮಾದರಿ

It may not seem like it, but being consumed with impressing others can be a form of selfishness. When you try to wear the perfect outfit to fit in, when you talk or walk a certain way to be like your friends or the friend group you wish you were in, and so on. When you do this, you're focusing on yourself in those moments rather than being present and focusing on the people you're spending time with. People matter, and the time you spend with them shouldn't be focused on figuring out how you compare to them, it should be spent on enjoying time together!
Today, if you catch yourself only trying to look or sound like you belong, try focusing on making sure someone else feels like they belong first.

And the further you move away from comparison and toward contentment, the more you’ll be able to love who you are just as you are!
