Belt of Truth
When you wear a belt, it goes around your core, the very center of your body. It anchors things in place, holds things together, and helps you stand tall. The belt of Truth does the same for you and your family.
Truth is the Word of God. It isn’t dusty and dated. It is alive, able to remind us of what’s most important in life. It gives an understanding of who God is and who we are through Him. When you pray for your family to have the belt of truth firmly around their waists, you are praying for the living Word of God to anchor them at their core. This strengthens them in every area of their lives.
Lord, I pray for my family to have the belt of Truth buckled firmly around their waists. May Your living Word and all of its promises anchor them in faith and remind them of who they are in You. No matter what they face today, may you hold them up and help them stand tall. Amen
