He Isಮಾದರಿ

We’ve all heard stories about the amazing power of love. Not just emotional power . . . but actual, physical strength that can flow through a person when they’re trying to help someone they love. There are countless news stories of mothers being able to lift up a car to save their child or a father who was able to hold on to their child to keep them from falling with only the strength of one arm. Truly, these stories show us the length that some parents will go to for the safety of their children. And as believers, we not only have earthly parents, but we also have a heavenly Father who, time and again, tells us of His overwhelming love for us. And not only His love but His desire for good things in our lives.
This does not mean that, as His children, nothing terrible or wrong will ever happen in our lives. Instead, we can be comforted knowing that God our Father will never leave us in those times. His love will never lessen or end, no matter what situation we may face. Today, read the verse above and reflect on what the words mean for your life, specifically this week. How does it feel to know that you are a child of God? What will you do differently this week, knowing God’s love is always with you?

About this Plan

Getting to know someone takes time. It’s the same with our relationship with God. God doesn’t just want us to know facts about Him or only speak to Him through prayers sporadically said throughout our lives. God wants us to have a relationship with Him based on us knowing who He is. We will walk together through Scriptures that are filled with descriptions of God’s attributes and promises to help us know Him more.
