Power for Lifeಮಾದರಿ

Repetition in the text is often an author's way of making the main points clear. (Note that the previous sentence was repeated from yesterday!) Highlight repeated words or phrases that you find in the text. For instance, in Psalm 6, you will see repeated words such as: weeping, mercy, and anguish. Each of these words is used before God "heard" David's prayer and then repeated after God "heard" David's prayer. The repetition shows the relationship between David's cry and God's response. Reflect on this connection between David's prayer and God's mirrored response. Does this reveal anything about God's attention to your prayers?
Note: If you are using this study in a Power Hour Bible Reading Group, begin thinking about what you will share in your discussion tomorrow. What is one verse or passage from the readings this week that God has used to speak to you? More information on the Power Hour Bible Reading Group can be found in day 1 of this plan.
