Sometimes knowing what to do or say to help a friend in need is hard. Sure, you know they’re hurting. Sure, you want to help. But how? Well, the good news is we don’t have to do it all. In fact, we can start small. We can simply show up! Rather than worry about what to do or say, we can just be present. We can be a friend to hurting people by sharing our time, love, and presence with them when they need it. That’s an easy way to start the party with support and love!

Who do you know that’s in need right now? Pray that God would give you the courage to simply show up and be with them in their hurt this week.
