When it comes to being conduits of hope, we all have an active role to play. We’re invited as participants in God’s mission to use what we have to demonstrate love. What we do will look different from person to person. Paul uses the analogy of a body to describe our various roles. He emphasizes that the parts are equally important no matter how insignificant they might seem. There are many ways to apply this idea. Still, as we look at the concept of generosity, it speaks to everyone’s ability to contribute and the need for everyone to play a part that is distinct to them individually.
