God Over Everythingಮಾದರಿ

Money
Money gives us the ability to do many pleasing things. For example, we can use money to help those less fortunate than us, take trips all over the world, or buy gifts for family and friends.
On the other hand, having a love for or a deeply rooted desire for money can lead us into temptation. If we have money and begin entertaining or embracing the sinful desires buried in our hearts, we would only be leading ourselves down the path of destruction and away from faith!
The question is, how do we protect ourselves from becoming a lover of money?
Timothy reminds us of a great truth that cannot be denied nor disputed! That is, we brought nothing into this world, and we can take nothing out of it! Understanding this truth can give us a renewed perspective and teach us not to focus primarily on monetary or worldly things. Furthermore, Jesus has promised never to leave us or forsake us. He is our Provider. Faith in God should make us lovers of our Redeemer, not lovers of money!
Deep Reflection:
Is your desire for money intended to glorify God or Gratify your flesh?
