Daily Bible Reading – February 2023, "God’s Saving Word: Love"ಮಾದರಿ

February 8
Introduction
Paul encourages the Colossians to live in union with Christ Jesus and to remain strong in faith rooted in the Lord Jesus. Paul warns the believers not to be deceived by false teachings, reminding them of the new life they now have in Christ.
Scripture Reading
Colossians 2:6-19
Today’s Key Verse: Colossians 2:6
Since you have accepted Christ Jesus as Lord, live in union with him.
Reflect
In today’s reading, what does Paul say about avoiding “the worthless deceit of human wisdom” (verse 8) and being condemned by others (verses 16-19)? In contrast, how does Paul describe life with Christ (verses 11-15)? What messages in the world today attempt to lure people away from the full life that God offers through Christ Jesus?
Pray
Lord Jesus, I have accepted you as my Lord and Savior. My real life is with you. Keep me rooted in you, and strengthen my faith daily as I live to serve you. Amen.
Tomorrow’s Reading
Colossians 2:20—3:17: The apostle Paul describes new life in Christ.
