2 Corinthiansಮಾದರಿ

Paul’s intention in writing this letter was to meet the need of the Jewish Christians in Jerusalem by encouraging the Corinthian Christians to be a blessing to them. Though the Corinthians neglected to collect the offering they originally intended to give, Paul writes this letter to them to encourage them to follow through on their original desire.
Their giving wasn’t meant to be a transactional type of giving and taking, but a generous giving for the right reason, with the right heart posture of love and grace because we have been given the same.
His concluding idea is clear. Paul calls them higher by asking them to now come through and give like the good givers he knows that they are. I believe something beautiful can happen when we do enough life with other believers, and they can call out the good in us that we have either maybe lost sight of or just can’t see for ourselves yet.
How can we as a church body call each other higher and hold each other accountable for our generosity (without demanding anything from anyone)?

We are going through the book of 2 Corinthians together! We will be reading one chapter every week as we usually do, but this time we have also included devotions and other passages to read on certain days. We hope you will follow along with us as we deep dive into Paul's second letter to the church in Corinth and seek to see what we can learn from it today as we seek to follow Jesus together.
