2 Corinthiansಮಾದರಿ

Paul picks up on the imagery in Jeremiah in verses 1-3 of our chapter for this week. Jeremiah is looking to a time when God would make a new covenant with his people. Paul, in light of what Jesus has done, is encouraging the church in Corinth that this has now happened.
Because of the new covenant in Jesus, it is unnecessary to look for external affirmation but instead focus on internal transformation. As it says at the end of verse 3, the new covenant is “written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.”

We are going through the book of 2 Corinthians together! We will be reading one chapter every week as we usually do, but this time we have also included devotions and other passages to read on certain days. We hope you will follow along with us as we deep dive into Paul's second letter to the church in Corinth and seek to see what we can learn from it today as we seek to follow Jesus together.
