Did you know that the wise men didn't actually come when Jesus was first born? The usual scenes we see are wrong. The wise men had to travel a far distance to find Jesus. Jesus was probably close to 2 years old when the wise men saw him. When they did find him, their first response was to worship him and bow down to him. When was the last time you worshiped Jesus? This time of year can get so busy that we don't ever stop to simply worship Jesus. He is worthy of our praise no matter what time of year.

Challenge: Put on some worship music and take the next several minutes to worship Jesus. Take some time to praise him for all he has done for you.

Go Deeper: Try writing a song of praise to Jesus today. It doesn't need to be long or complicated- just write down a few sentences telling Jesus what he means to you.
