Bro Code Devotional: Part 3 of 3ಮಾದರಿ

Dear Lord,

Praise You for family. Thank You for our parents and siblings. Father, we know not every family unit is supportive, caring, or intact, but that doesn't prohibit the need to honor our mother and father.

Your word says nothing about judging our earthly parents but that we are to honor them. I pray that if the pain is associated with a brother's family, the model of honoring despite the injuries will allow them to follow Your example as being a Godly father to their kids so that the cycle of family dysfunction and strife ends at their generation.

Father, You are a good, good Father. We men can do better through You. I pray that Your heart for the family will shine through to brothers still struggling to be the head of their household.

Amen
