All For His Gloryಮಾದರಿ

How do we respond to God’s glory? After reading through some of Israel’s encounters with the glory of God, today we are going to look at two very different passages that represent different responses to the glory of God.
Isaiah, although clearly moved by the vision he has, responds with, “here I am, send me.” In contrast, we see the people in the passage from Revelation wanting to hide from the Lord. Both of these are very cosmic pictures, and our response to God’s glory might look quite different, but they serve to show us that how we respond to God’s glory is really important.
As we read earlier this week, because of what Jesus has done for us, we, like Israel, have the opportunity to carry God’s glory. Each one of us must respond to that opportunity.
Using S.O.A.P. let’s think about how we respond to God’s glory in light of these passages. Let’s be carriers of God’s glory in our lives today.

What does it mean to live 'All For His Glory'? This plan looks at how God's glory is revealed in the Bible and how people responded to it. The first week focuses on defining God's glory, the second week on what it means to be a carrier of God's glory through the Holy Spirit, and the third week looks at what it means to live a life of worship.
