Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship.

Romans 12:1 NIV 84

The Command: “offer your bodies”. The Motivation: “God’s mercy”.

The Reason: “spiritual act of worship”. What God really wants is you.  

1. Paul says that the motivation for our surrender is God’s mercy. What does God’s mercy have to do with surrender?    
2. Read the story of Abraham and Isaac in Genesis 22:1-18. What do you think Abraham was feeling on that long walk to Mount Moriah?    
3. Pray and ask God to reveal to you what you need to surrender.
