Come to the Garden: Focusing on Jesus ಮಾದರಿ

What stands out about this verse today is that Jesus wore a heavy burden. Each day leading up to His resurrection, He knew. He knew it would be so painful, that He would suffer and eventually die. I can’t imagine living with this weight every day! It’s unfathomable. At any time He could have decided to pass the cup, to refuse to bear the burden, and to let us suffer the price for our own sinfulness. However, we serve a gracious God! He knew the only way for us to be with Him was for Him to suffer along this road and to rise in victory proclaiming He was the one true God.

Are you having a hard time today, mama? Are you suffering in some way? Stay the course. Jesus’ life was a living, breathing example to us. Story after story is written in God’s Word to encourage us to have perseverance, even when it’s hard. Take courage today!
