DAY 30 OF 31

May 30 – Living by the Word

Living by the Word means making Scripture the foundation of life. It is not occasional dependence but continuous reliance. The Word becomes the standard for thinking, speaking, and acting.

This matters because life is sustained by what feeds it. Just as the body requires food, the spirit requires the Word. Consistent engagement with Scripture produces strength, stability, and direction.

When the Word is not the basis of life, instability follows. People fluctuate based on circumstances and external influences. Without the Word, there is no solid foundation.

DAILY EXERCISE
Evaluate how often you engage the Scriptures and adjust your routine to make the Word a daily foundation.

PRAYER
Father, help me to live by Your Word daily. Let Scripture become my foundation. I pray for believers, students, families, and leaders across Nigeria that they will depend on Your Word for life. Lord, we ask that across nations, Your Word will become the standard for living. Strengthen the Church worldwide to stand on truth.

CONFESSION
I live by the Word of God. It is my foundation and my source of strength.

READING BIBLE PLAN (RBP):
Day 30: John 20–21; Acts 1
Look out for: Resurrection encounters; the Great Commission; the beginning of church history.
