DAY 18 OF 31

May 18 – Speaking the Word

Speaking the Word involves declaring Scripture in alignment with faith. It is expressing God’s truth verbally, reinforcing belief, and shaping perspective. What is spoken consistently influences thinking and action.

This matters because words carry power. When the Word of God is spoken, it strengthens faith and reinforces truth. It aligns the believer’s speech with God’s will.

When the Word is not spoken, other voices dominate. Negative speech, doubt, and fear begin to shape thinking. This weakens faith and affects outcomes.

DAILY EXERCISE
Choose one Scripture.
Speak it aloud throughout the day and personalise it.

PRAYER
Father, help me to speak Your Word boldly and consistently. Let my words align with Your truth. I pray for believers, students, families, and leaders across Nigeria that their speech will reflect Your Word. Lord, we ask that across nations, Your Word will be declared. Strengthen the Church worldwide to speak truth with confidence.

CONFESSION
I speak the Word of God. My words align with truth and produce life.

READING BIBLE PLAN (RBP):

Look out for: Faith through parables; kingdom assignments; the Gospel spreading outward.
