Spotting Spiritual Traps

DAY 1 OF 5

Called to Uphold the Standard

Every believer has a duty to bring glory to God through righteous living. We are not called to fit into the world’s patterns but to reflect heaven’s values on earth.

The Apostle Peter reminds us to “Be holy, for I am holy” (1 Peter 1:16). Holiness is not perfection; it is alignment, choosing God’s way when culture offers convenience. Today, many believers are losing sight of this standard, especially on social media. The pressure to blend in has silenced conviction. But the Church must remember: we are pilgrims, not settlers.

Our faith journey is not about popularity but purity. When truth stands beside error, truth will always straighten what is crooked. God is raising believers who will not shout to prove truth but live it boldly.

Let righteousness become your measure. Let Scripture, not trends, define your values. Heaven’s throne is built on righteousness (Hebrews 1:8). When you love righteousness and hate iniquity, God anoints you with gladness above your peers.

Reflection Question

  • What personal choices might God be asking you to realign with His standard today?

About this Plan

Spotting Spiritual Traps

In a world where opinions travel faster than truth, the body of Christ must return to its foundation—righteousness. This 5-day plan calls believers to love righteousness and hate iniquity, just as God does. It challenges us to measure every action and belief against Scripture, to reject compromise, and to live with spiritual integrity. This plan will help you rediscover the power of righteousness, the courage to confront error, and the wisdom to restore with grace. Whether you are a leader, disciple, or seeker of truth, you will be reminded that holiness is not outdated; it’s our divine identity.
