DAY 15: Every Day Relationship Through Prayer
REFLECT
Take a moment to ask yourself: How have I been approaching prayer? Am I trying to earn God’s attention, or am I coming to Him as a child comes to a loving parent? Am I talking at God, or am I making space to listen, too?
ACTION
Set aside a few minutes for a simple, honest conversation with God. Don’t worry about using the “right” words—just talk to Him as you would a close friend, and then spend a moment quietly listening for His response. Write down any thoughts or impressions you sense during this time, and consider how you might shift your approach to prayer this week to focus more on relationship and partnership with God.
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank You for inviting me into a real relationship with You through prayer. Forgive me for the times I’ve treated prayer as a formula or something I have to earn. Help me to see prayer as a conversation and a partnership with You. Draw me closer to You each day as I grow in intimacy and dependence on You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
