Faith Like a Mustard Seedნიმუში

Walking in Faith
In these past days, we learned that faith can grow. It begins as a mustard seed, but it has the potential to grow into something great.
To do that, we must remember God’s works and trust His Word. Faith is confessed by what we say and do. Only then, faith comes alive and begins to work—for you, others, and God, because He can now work through you.
So have faith every day. Trust God’s strength and promises, always. That pleases Him (Hebrews 11:6).
Faith is a choice, because faith is:
“the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1 NKJV)
We need faith for things we cannot see yet.
In John 11, we see people believing in different ways about the raising of Lazarus:
Maria believed for the past: “Lord, if You had been here…” (John 11:32 NKJV)
Martha believed for the future: “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.” (John 11:24 NKJV)
Others believed only after they saw Lazarus come out of the tomb (John 11:45 NKJV).
But Jesus called them to believe now.
And He calls you to believe now—no matter your circumstances, no matter how impossible things look.
Believe what God says. Believe His promises.
Have faith like a mustard seed.
To conclude this plan, we want to share some steps you can take to build your faith and walk in faith.
Practical steps to walk in faith:
- Read God’s Word daily and apply it in your life.
- Lay down doubt and speak His promises aloud over your situation.
- “God, You say You provide for all I need, and I believe it.”
- Be active and show God’s love in action, even in small ways. Pray for someone or buy a meal for someone in need.
- Be thankful and remind yourself of His faithfulness. For example, keep a journal of what God has done.
You are blessed!
Reflection:
What step can you take today to walk out your faith?
Prayer:
Lord, teach me to walk in faith even when I cannot see the outcome. Help me to not only know Your Word but to “do” it. Please give me the courage to take steps of faith, lay down doubt, and live in gratitude. Let my life reflect Your power. Amen.
