Come All Ye Faithless

DAY 25 OF 25

Day 25 – Let Us Go and See

After the angels depart, the shepherds say, “Let us go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened.” They move from hearing to seeking. Their faith becomes a journey. And when they find Mary, Joseph, and the child lying in the manger, awe becomes action—they tell everyone what they’ve seen.

Some respond with amazement; Mary responds with quiet reflection, treasuring these moments in her heart. One celebrates outwardly, the other inwardly—and both ways honor God. This is the rhythm of Christmas: rejoicing and remembering, proclaiming and pondering.

When loneliness tempts us to stay still, God calls us to draw near. Peace comes not from isolation but from movement toward Christ. And the beauty of the gospel is that when we take even one small step toward Him, we discover a Savior who has already taken every step toward us.

Jesus didn’t visit for a moment; He entered our world to remain with us. The light that broke through the darkness that night still shines today—steady, faithful, unshaken. This is where Advent ends and incarnation begins: God with us, God within us, God among us. The lonely are not alone anymore.

Kingdom Quality: Sacrificial Developer – Extending presence by moving toward others as Christ has moved toward us.

Prayer: Jesus, thank you for coming near and staying near. Give me courage to move toward you and toward others with hope. Let your presence rest on me and overflow to those who need it most.

Come As You Are Moment: What step could you take today to leave isolation behind and carry the nearness of Christ into the days that follow Christmas?

About this Plan

Come All Ye Faithless

Advent is often described as a season of joy—but what if you feel anything but joyful? O Come All Ye Faithless offers an honest journey through the stories of Scripture for those who feel hopeless, joyless, anxious, or lonely. Over twenty-five days, you're invited to slow down, reflect, and encounter the God who meets us where faith feels thin. Each day includes Scripture, a reflection, and a prayer to help you discover that hope grows in silence, joy emerges through surrender, peace is born in trust, and love is revealed in presence—the true invitation of Christmas.
