Heart Over Hype: Returning to Authentic Faithნიმუში

Reading: 1 John 1:8–9
Devotional:
Repentance isn't a one-time event, but a daily practice that keeps us humble and aligned with God's will.
Today's scripture reminds us that God is faithful to forgive when we confess our sins. Embrace a lifestyle of repentance by starting each day with self-reflection.
Ask the Holy Spirit to search your heart and reveal areas that need attention. Confess specific sins, attitudes, or distractions that pull you away from God. Then, receive His forgiveness and grace.
This daily practice of turning to God keeps our hearts soft and receptive to His leading.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for Your mercy that meets me fresh every morning. Search my heart and show me anything that doesn’t honor You. I repent for the times I’ve chosen comfort over conviction. Wash me clean, renew my spirit, and help me walk in freedom. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Application:
Take five minutes at the end of your day to reflect: Where did I drift today? Where did I see God’s grace? Confess and release it. Don’t carry guilt, carry gratitude for His forgiveness.
