Fear Is a Liar

The enemy’s primary weapon against believers is fear—not just of failure, but of who we might become if we ever walked in truth. For years, I battled silent fear: fear of rejection, fear of getting it wrong, fear that I wasn’t enough. But God showed me that fear is a spirit, and it must be cast out.

Second Timothy 1:7 doesn’t say we “shouldn’t” have fear—it says we’ve not been given a spirit of fear. Fear is an intruder, and it speaks lies to keep us stuck. It tells us we can’t change. It convinces us we’re not worthy. But when we know the truth, fear loses its voice.

The devil fears the moment you stop listening to lies and start living in truth. That’s when everything changes.

Prayer:

Father, I reject the spirit of fear and receive the spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. Silence every lie that has kept me bound, and replace it with Your truth. Help me walk boldly in the freedom You’ve given me. Amen.
