Breathe: Stop Striving. Start Living in Holy Spirit Power.ნიმუში

The Breath of God
Devotion: In the beginning, God breathed life into Adam's nostrils, and he became a living soul. After His resurrection, Jesus breathed on His disciples and they received spiritual life. Same breath. Same power. Different creation.
You weren't meant to live the Christian life on your own strength. You need the breath of God. Without it, you're just religious dust—going through motions, faking it, exhausted. With it, you're a new creation—empowered, transformed, alive.
The same Greek word used in John 20:22 appears only in one other place in Scripture—Genesis 2:7, when God breathed life into Adam. This isn't a coincidence. Jesus is creating something new. The breath that gave physical life to the first Adam gives spiritual life to all who believe in the last Adam.
Maybe you've been trying to manufacture spiritual life through discipline, programs, or willpower. Stop. You can't breathe life into yourself. Only God can. The disciples didn't conjure up the Holy Spirit—Jesus breathed on them. They received what He gave.
Today, Jesus is still breathing. The question is: are you receiving? Stop striving. Stop performing. Just breathe in what He's breathing out.
Declaration: "I receive the breath of God today. The same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead lives in me. I am not powered by my strength, but by His Spirit."
Prayer: "Jesus, breathe on me. I can't manufacture spiritual life—only You can give it. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Let Your breath become my life, my power, my source. I receive what You freely give. In Jesus' name, amen."
