Living Open-Handed: 30 Days of Generosity and Impactნიმუში

Giving Without Fear: Trusting God’s Provision
What would you give if you knew you’d never run out?
Fear can stop us from being generous. We often worry that if we give, there won’t be enough left for us. Jesus told His followers not to worry about what they would eat or wear because God already knows what they need.
In the Bible’s book of 1 Kings, there is a story about a widow who had only enough flour and oil for one last meal for herself and her son. Then the prophet Elijah asked her to make bread for him first. It would have been easy for her to say no. Instead, she trusted God’s word and shared what she had. From that day until the drought ended, her jar of flour and jug of oil never ran out.
When we give without fear, we are saying, “I believe God will take care of me.”
Reflection Question: Where is fear holding you back from giving freely?
Call to Action: Choose one step of generosity today that feels uncomfortable and trust God to provide for you.
Prayer: Lord, You know my needs before I ask. Replace my fear with faith. Help me to give boldly, knowing You will provide in ways I can’t yet see. Amen.
