Balancing Busy Livesნიმუში

Here's what I absolutely love about our God: He's so faithful that when we finally stop and ask Him to reorder our day, He doesn't just fix things, He allows us to redeem the time we thought we'd lost!
I've experienced this so many times. Those mornings when I feel like I've completely thrown off my whole day by forgetting to start with God, but then I pause, repent, and ask Him to take over. Suddenly, what felt like chaos begins to fall into place. Appointments work out, traffic flows, and conversations happen exactly when they need to. It's like the Holy Spirit orchestrates everything when our hearts are postured toward Him.
The people in Haggai's time discovered this too. We see this moment happen as we read Haggai 2:15-19. Once they realigned their priorities and put God's house first, He promised to bless their work in ways they never expected. Their vineyards would become fruitful, their harvests abundant, their efforts meaningful again.
Friend, it's never too late to stop and put first things first. God isn't looking at His watch, tapping His foot, waiting for you to get it together. He's simply waiting with open arms, ready to help you reorder your steps according to His perfect rhythm. Matthew 6:25-34 brings tears to my eyes when I read about how careful God is to provide for us when we see Him first.
Now is your time. Today is your day. It’s not too late to put Jesus back in the space where he belongs. I hope that over the last 3-days you have decided to move Him from the margins into the center. Not out of guilt or condemnation but out of love and affection towards Him.
Today's Heart Check: What would it look like for you to practically "seek first His kingdom" in your current season? What's one small change you can make today to ensure God gets your first and best, not your leftover time and energy?
Prayer: Father, I want you to be my priority in every area of life. Help me start each day with You, make decisions with You, and end each day grateful to You. When I get off track, remind me it's never too late to come back and ask You to reorder my steps. Thank You for Your faithfulness to work all things together for good when my heart is aligned with Yours. Amen.
