The Prevailing Life

DAY 1 OF 6

To prevail means to overcome, to triumph, to prove more powerful than opposing forces. Life often feels like a battle; in school, career, relationships, or personal struggles. Many find themselves asking, “How do I live a prevailing life?”

The first step is simple yet profound: accepting and confessing the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Until you belong to His family, God may be your Creator, but He is not yet your Father and fatherhood denotes family. As John 1:12 (NKJV) reminds us, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God.

Like Peter declared in Matthew 16:16 (KJV), “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God,” we too must confess Jesus as Lord. This confession opens the door to salvation and victory. If you’ve been living in defeat, Jesus invites you to surrender today. Let Him lead, and you will step into the life He has destined for you—The Prevailing Life.

Prayer:

If you want to start winningprevailingyou are invited today to say this prayer:

“Lord Jesus, I accept You today as my Lord and Savior. Come into my life and reign in me. Give me the grace to live for You all the days of my life and to prevail in every area as You give me victory. Thank You for saving me, in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

About this Plan

The Prevailing Life

Life is full of battles, but God has called you to prevail. This 6-day plan, grounded in Matthew 16:16–19, will guide you through the keys God has given His children to walk in victory. To “prevail” means to prove more powerful than opposing forces, to triumph, and to overcome. Jesus declared that the gates of hell will not prevail against His church. That promise is for you too. Our prayer is that as you journey through this plan, the Holy Spirit will reveal truth, strengthen you, and empower you to live The Prevailing Life.
