No Wasted Glories

Be still, and know that I am God.

Psalm 46:10, NIV

God invites you to an intimate relationship, a first hand experience of Him in your daily life. When God says, “Be still, and know that I am God,” He is inviting you to take a step of faith, open the pages of His Word, and know Him. How will you respond to God’s invitation? What will you do with God’s Word, filled as it is with truth after truth of God’s wondrous nature and attributes? When you stand face-to-face with your Lord, you’ll want to know that you have known Him. Imagine your confidence in His presence, having no wasted glories. You made the most of His revelation, opening the pages of the Bible day-by-day and poring over all He said, just so you could know Him more.

No wasted glories, dear friend. Will you draw near and know your God today?

O Lord, I want to know You for myself. When I open the pages of the Bible, cause my eyes to see and taste Your glory. Amen.
