College & Christ: A 30-Day Devotional for College Girlsნიმუში

Your Gifts Matter
In Romans 12, Paul is writing to believers in Rome about how they should live as a transformed community. After urging them not to conform to the world but to be renewed in their minds (Romans 12:2), he explains that the church is like a body, made up of different members with different gifts. Each gift is valuable and necessary because of God’s grace.
Paul’s teaching is important because the church doesn’t function very well if everyone tries to do the same thing. Diversity is a great thing! Each believer offered their unique gift for the sake of the whole.
In college, it’s easy to slip into comparison, but you want to do your best to embrace your God-given strengths, so you serve both your campus and His Kingdom. It doesn't matter if someone else seems more outgoing, more popular, more athletic, more artistic, more “qualified.” Paul reminds us that God has placed gifts inside you on purpose. You are not meant to have her gifts...you are meant to faithfully use yours!
Think about this...
What gifts do you recognize in yourself? How could you use one of your gifts to bless someone on campus this week?

About this Plan

As a mom, youth leader, and someone who has worked with teen girls for over 14 years, I know this season can feel both exciting and overwhelming. My prayer is that in these 30 days, you’ll be reminded that God is with you in every lecture hall, dorm room, late-night study session, and moment of doubt. You are loved, chosen, and equipped to shine.
