Finding the Wordsნიმუში

Dear Lord Jesus,
You are our everything. You are our strength when we are weak. You are the treasure that we seek. You are out all in all. You are the One who is able to provide abundance out of scarcity, relief in the presence of pain, healing in the face of disease, encouragement when we are depressed, and even life in the valley of death. You are able to do all things, and we are Your children - so we rest in Your presence and provision today.
In light of this, we come to You today, dear LORD, and we ask:
- For jobs for those who need them.
- For healing for the sick.
- For the hope of eternal life for those who are facing death.
- For encouragement to every soul who is downcast today.
- And for Your help in every other place where it is necessary.
Lord, we pray that You would provide answers to our prayers through Your supernatural response, but also through the care provided by Your people. May You work through all means possible to do Your will today. And, dear Lord, give us the faith to continue to trust in You if Your answer to these prayers is a loving “no” or “not now.” You are always good and You have eternity to deliver on all Your promises. Give us eyes to see Your hand at work today and patience for the provision that is still in process.
In Your Mighty Name we pray … AMEN

About this Plan

Ask many Christians about their prayer life, and they will admit their struggle to find the words to pray. For thousands of years, liturgies have helped believers articulate words in their communication with God. This collection of 30 prayers (and the Scripture behind them) is designed to improve our prayer lives as we allow God's Word to populate our words in prayer.
