Romans: A 30 Day Visitნიმუში

Paul explained in chapter 1 that all of humanity had turned away from God. In chapter 2, we read how the Jews were also hypocritical in judging others while they, themselves, also went their own way and not God's way.
Paul goes on in this section to leave us in no shred of doubt that we are helpless in our sinful state. Stick with it! Tomorrow will bring encouragement!
Spend some time reflecting on how you see the whole world turned away from God.
Reflect on ways in your own life that you also do not seek after God.
Why do you think Paul spends so much effort explaining that everyone has turned away and that everyone has rejected God?

About this Plan

Paul's letter to the church in Rome is packed! He is helping this new church establish a vision for what it looks like to be citizens of God's Kingdom. There is doctrine to learn and live by, as well as wisdom for living life in ways that accurately reflect the King. As we take the trip together over the next month, we too see that what we believe, always influences how we live.
