Day 5: The Ten Commandments
Daily Thread: At Mount Sinai, God gave Israel the Law as the terms of their covenant relationship with Him. These commandments structured their worship and community life, revealing God’s holiness. Yet the Law also exposed humanity’s inability to live in perfect obedience, pointing to the need for Christ, who would fulfill the Law. The giving of the Law by God to the people established Israel as a nation uniquely set apart for God’s purposes.
