Threads: How the Bible Weaves Togetherნიმუში

Day 17: Valley of Dry Bones
Daily Thread: Ezekiel’s ministry took place during the Babylonian exile, following Jerusalem's fall in 586 B.C., when many from Judah were taken captive. The exile meant being removed from the land promised to the tribes, a devastating judgment that raised questions about God’s covenant promises. Ezekiel often acted out symbolic messages, like lying on his side for days or shaving his head, to represent Israel’s spiritual condition. His vision of dry bones showed that God could bring new life to a people who seemed hopelessly cut off, pointing forward to spiritual renewal in Christ.
