Perseverance & Endurance - Holding Onto Hope in Times of Challengeნიმუში

A lion’s roar can be heard up to 8 kilometres away (5 miles). That is spine-tingling stuff! The idea of a lion stalking in the darkness is the stuff of nightmares and horror movies. It evokes a powerful fight-or-flight response in us. Yet, to take a stand in spite of what our instincts tell us, is what persevering can feel like some days. Everything in you says run, but to take your stand, trust and believe - now that is the kind of faith that can move mountains!
The Lord is with you; he is the one who is mighty to save. Take time today and meditate on God's promises to be with us in order to strengthen your resolve to continue to resist the enemy’s tactics.

About this Plan

No-one likes to suffer. It isn’t a pleasant experience. It is painful, uncomfortable and a place to get out of as quickly as possible. However, there is one thing Jesus promised that we often skim over - ‘In this world you will have trouble.’ – John 16:33. So, what is our stance when trouble comes our way? Let us take a journey into what it means to persevere and endure so that when we face times of testing, we do so with the right heart posture.
