Rooted in Your True Identity

DAY 5 OF 5

Living Out Your Identity

You are God’s workmanship, His masterpiece, created with purpose. Your life isn’t random, you were designed to walk in the good works He prepared for you. The old you has been crucified with Christ, and now His life is expressed through you.

As you live out your identity, remember that it’s not about making a name for yourself but about carrying His light, His glory, and His mercy. A successful follower isn’t a famous follower, it’s a faithful follower of Christ. Living from your identity in Christ means walking in humility, knowing your worth is secure and your purpose is eternal.

Quote (John Piper): “God is always doing 10,000 things in your life, and you may be aware of three of them.”

Respond to God’s Word: Ask God to show you specific ways to live out your identity in Him this week. Step into one of those good works by faith.

My prayer is that your family can stand firm on your identity in Christ. One resource that has helped our family stay rooted in who we are in Christ is a simple weekly guide we use together.

Each week, we receive a short guide with a Bible verse, a worship song, seven daily conversation questions, and a short prayer to help guide our family time. It’s helped us process tough moments together and stay connected to God’s voice, even when the world makes us feel left out.

About this Plan

Rooted in Your True Identity

So many people search for identity in their careers, achievements, titles, or the recognition they receive from others. But those things can fade, shift, or be taken away. As followers of Christ, our true identity is anchored in something unshakable: who we are in Him. This plan will walk you through Scriptures that reveal what God says about your identity and how to live from that place of truth.
